Lowest Moment: I think that any time I let climbing frustrate me is a low moment. Climbing is supposed to be fun!

What Climbing means to me: I grew up in Montana and began climbing when I was in 7th grade. For me, it reminds me of what I love about Montana - the mountains! I only climbed for a year or so and walked away from the sport until recently. I am still at the stage where I suck and it embarrasses me, but for me climbing is a way for me to remember Montana even though I am thousands of miles away and living is a big city. We all have a way of escaping the lives that we lead: a way of imagining, even for a moment, the way we would live our lives if we had no responsibilities or constraints. Climbing hasn't quite become the unequivocal method of my escapism ...yet... but I am confident that, given time, it may.
